His child Nastur Daruwalla, addressing PTI, denied the theory via web-based media that his dad had contracted Covid. Daruwalla was experiencing just pneumonia, he said. The Apollo Hospital in the city affirmed that Daruwalla kicked the bucket during treatment, revealed PTI.

"Disheartened by the end of eminent Astrologer Shri Bejan Daruwalla. I appeal to God for the left soul. My sympathies. Om Shanti....," tweeted Gujarat boss priest Vijay Rupani.
